She was a cook for the University of Minnesota-Duluth, retiring in 1973 after 25 years of service.
Her husband, John Richard Foy, died in 1977.
Ethel is survived by her sons: Richard, and Michael; daughters: Jackie Rushenberg, Jean Engel, Jeryln Smith and Patricia Witta; sister, Esther Roufl; 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery.
