Services for Stella May Glass were held in the First Christian Church. A resident of Haskell County since 1926, she was valedictorian of her high school class in Cedar Hill. She married John M. Glass on 21 December 1910. He preceded her in death. She was an active member of the First Christian Church in Haskell for more than 50 years. She helped organize the educational department at the church and served for many years as Sunday School Superintendent. She was involved with helping can peas for the Fowler Hme, and arranging floral displays for the church auditorium. She loved to entertain guests and was a hostess for church functions. Survivors include two daughters; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and son son, Moreland Glass.
