Thomas Luther Bryant, Jr. was the son of Thomas Luther Bryant Sr. (1887-1968) and Alma Alsaide Satcher Bryant (1891 - 1976). Both of Mississippi.
Siblings: Lois Virginia Bryant Jenkins (1911-1988) and Lovis Lee Bryant Weaver (1917-1998).
Paternal Grandparents: John Jesse Bryant (1854-1932) of South Carolina and Mary Edwina "Eddy" Pope (1851-1928) of Mississippi.
Maternal Grandparents: Washington Brown Satcher (1853-1927) of Mississippi and Amy Amie McWyane Satcher (1854-1925) of Alabama.
He retired from U.S. Steel. Mr. Bryant was a U.S. Army veteran who loved his country and thought that this was the greatest Nation on Earth.
Mr. Bryant is survived by his children, Ann Stone, Judy (Ron) Guthrie and Doug (Pat) Bryant; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Ruth Burt Bryant (1923-2015) He married Edna on October 14th, 1942 in Jefferson County, Alabama. She was the daughter of George Burt (1893-1956) and Clara Eliza Frederick Burt (1900-1970) of Alabama.
Also preceded by grandson, David Thomas Bryant (1977-2013).
A Celebration of Life will be Monday, August 27, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Hudson officiating. A time of visitation will be on Monday from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Gardens.
