By trade, he was a blacksmith. Son of Jacob Bush and Mary Rimmel. Husband of Jane Iddings Bush, they were the parents of nine children, two preceding Mr. Bush in death as did his wife Jane. For a time, the couple resided in Marion, Ohio, where three of their children relocated. The couple removed back to the Paulton area ca. 1898.
