She was born on October 22, 1928 on the family farm in the Tyrone Township of Red Willow County, Nebraska to Henry and Mary Ruf, Sr. Anna was the third youngest of 11 children. She grew up in Wilsonville, Nebraska on the family farm – something she was very proud of. She graduated from Lebanon High School and on August 28, 1949 she married the love of her life George Baughman. They moved to Arlington in 1955. She was a homemaker and loving mother to her 7 children. Later, she went work at Shipley’s Donuts, where she remained for many years. She was also employed and retired from the appliance dept at Kmart in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 8 siblings.
