Albert M. Glackens died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at Manorcare. He was 79. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Glackens was a 1957 graduate of the first graduating class of Monsignor Bonner High School. He achieved his Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Joseph University. Mr. Glackens was a longtime resident of Fairless Hills and was a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish. Until retiring in 2001, Mr. Glackens was employed with the Department of Health for the State of New Jersey for 25 years. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran, who served from 1961 until 1963, during the Vietnam Era.

Beloved husband of the late Thelma M. (Thompson); he was the loving father of Christopher Glackens and Mary Bratz; and the brother of Nancy Chiango and Suzette Hay. Albert is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call from 8:15 until 9:15 a.m. on Thursday at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Rd., Fairless Hills, where his funeral Mass will be held at 9:30. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
