LUGOFF – A celebration of life service for Mary Louise Blevins Phillips, 77, will be held Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
Mrs. Phillips, wife of the late Roy Phillips, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015. Born in McDowell County, W.V., she was a daughter of the late Wells and Helen Oram Blevins. Mrs. Phillips was a member of El-Bethel Faith Community Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughters, Vicky Ray (Peter) of Lugoff, Rhonda Stevens (Mike) of Columbia, Sheryl Duncan (James) of Camden; son, Roy Phillips (Cheryl) of Cheraw; sisters, Dolly Incoe of Charlottesville, VA, Dottie Sfredo of Manassas, VA; a brother, Robert Blevins of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Jeremy Ray (Heather), Sean Stevens (Heather), Michelle Stevens, Tyler Phillips; and great-grandchildren, Grasen Humphrey, and Ryleigh and Jaxson Stevens. She was predeceased by sisters, Linda Blevins, Hazel Blevins, Marie Taylor, Jeanev Parker; and a brother, James Blevins.
