Carol Sue Hensley
September 18, 1956 - August 30, 2018 Carol Sue Hensley was born September 18, 1956 in Clay County and departed this life Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at her residence in Tyner, being 61 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Odell & Georgia (Metcalf) King.
Sue is survived by her husband, Kenny Hensley of Tyner and by one daughter, Leeann Hensley and her fiancé Jared Smith of Greenmount. She is also survived by two sisters, Debbie Metcalf and her husband Gary of Tyner and Loretta Osborne and her husband David of Berea. Sue was blessed with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, Sue was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Kathy Allen.
Sue was a member of the Union Baptist Church and an Eastern Star.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Burchette officiating. Burial to follow in the Neeley Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jamie Baker, Shane Vickers, Jason Metcalf and Travis Bingham. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
