Mr. Morrill was born in Junction, Utah, and moved to Arizona 20 years ago from Tridell, Utah. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie; sons Harold of Roy, Utah, Marion of Ogden, Utah, Kenneth of Omaha, Nebraska, Clinton of Hobbs, New Mexico and Wesley of Phoenix; daughter Marta Tullis of Princeton, New Jersey; sister Rhoda Hickenlooper of Sacramento, California; and 29 grandchildren.

Charles Ellis Morrill, 86, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Tridell, died February 3, 1991 in Mesa.
Born May 9, 1904 in Junction, Utah to Hyrum and Harriet Ann Greatreaks Bay Morrill. Married Martha Lamoreaux December 21, 1927 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died January 1, 1960. Married Elsie Henry Ashby November 16, 1968. Rancher and farmer in Tridell and U.S. Mail carrier for 35 years. Moved to Mesa in 1972.
Survived by wife, Mesa, Ariz.; daughter and sons, Marta Tullis, Princeton, New Jersey; Wesley J., Glendale, Ariz.; Clinton L., Hobbs, New Mexico; F. Marion, Ogden; Harold, Roy; Kenneth, Omaha, Neb.; step children, Lila Thacker, Maricopa, Ariz.; Kenny Ashby, Salt Lake City; Gary Ashby, Orem; nunerous grandchildren, step grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; sister, Rhoda Hickenlooper. Preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral Friday, 11 am, at the Tridell LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the Olpin-Hullinger Mortuary in Roosevelt, Thursday,7-9 pm and Friday at the church one hour prior. Burial, Tridell Cemetery

Ellis first married Martha Lamoreaux December 21, 1927 in the Salt Lake City Temple. They resided in Tridell, Utah where they had six children.
Martha died January 1, 1960. After her death Ellis finished raising his family alone, drawing upon the faith and courage of his heritage. With his two youngest sons, he continued to live in Tridell for a time. Eventually, Ellis sold his Tridell property and built first one and then another home, in Fort Duchesne.
Some nine years later, Ellis married Elsie Henry Ashby They had a happy companionship, living in Fort Duchesne for a few years and then moving to Mesa, Arizona, where they lived until Ellis's death on February 3, 1991. By 1995, Elsie was living in Provo, Utah.
