Ella Lindon Moore, 90, died Saturday, July 26, 1997.
She was a native of Gloucester County, was a resident of Poquoson for 70 years and had lived the past seven years in the loving care of Bayside Convalescent Center. She was a member of Emmaus Baptist Church and its Fidelis Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings Bryant Moore. She is survived by one sister, Marian Lindon Riggins of Poquoson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Emmaus Baptist Church by Dr. Acree and the Rev. H. Ben Topping Jr. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News. Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home and other times at 751 Poquoson Ave.
Memorials may be made to Emmaus Baptist Church, or Poquoson Rescue Squad.
