Arthur Phillip Peaker
Funeral services for Mr. Arthur Phillip Peaker, 86, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden with the Rev. Ronnie Whitlock officiating. Burial will follow at Minden Cemetery.
Mr. Peaker, a native of Homer and a resident of Minden, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, in Minden. He was retired from KCS Railroad. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Minden and also a member of K.P. Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Myra Mims Peaker of Minden; sons, Ken Peaker of West Monroe and Arthur "Butch" Peaker and wife Rita of Minden, daughter, Marsha Shuler and husband Ronnie of Minden, eight grandchildren, Kenny Peaker, Teresa Futch, Larry Peaker, Andrea Madden, Jennifer Thomas, Jessica Collins, Scott Peaker and Angela Chandler, and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry Peaker, Kenny Peaker, Scott Peaker, Tony Thrash, Jerry Rogers, Sidney Smith, and Blake Rogers.
