A lifelong resident of Asheville, she was a daughter of the late John and Clara Nichols. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Faye Adams.
Ms. Nichols retired from Mission Hospital as a nuclear technician. As a lover of cats she raised and showed Silver and Golden Persians. Blanche was strong in Christ as a devoted member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara Ellen Nichols; niece, Teresa A Parsons and husband Chris; and her great niece, Kaitlyn F Parsons.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, September 6, 2018 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Dr. Billy King officiating. Burial will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
