Shirley Jane Brown, 79, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on August 26, 2018 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on December 31, 1938 to Melvin Gerald Blackburn and Polly Imogene Hobbs Blackburn in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
She was an Antique Shop owner and a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Bob Brown of Mount Pleasant; son, Mike Terrell of Mount Pleasant; son, Robby Terrell of North Carolina; son, Billy Joe Terrell of Crockett; son, John Terrell of Mount Pleasant; son, Keith Allyn of Cleveland, Ohio; son, Robert Brown of Tucson, Arizona; daughter, Angela Davis of Pittsburg; daughter, Susan Bishop of Mount Pleasant; daughter, Kathy Rozema of Tuscon, Arizona; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister Barbara Chadderdon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Melvin Gerald Balckburn.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Whitaker officiating.
