Nellie's name is inscribed on Oscar's grave marker at Columbus, Indiana, but she was not buried there.
2. Chester Fraser Rose, after 1950
Chester's first wife, Edith Srpinger, died in 1947. He died in Louisville, Dec. 21, 1972, also buried at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

Devoted mother of Mrs. Sylvia Orrell of Redding, Calif.; also survived by her sister, Mrs. Florence O'Connor of Pittsburgh, Pa.; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Remains at the W.G. Hardy Shively Chapel, 4101 Dixie Hgwy. where funeral services will be held Thurs. at 1:30 p.m. Interment Louisville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors Wed. from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 p.m.
