YAKIMA – Kimberly Marie Baggarley, 37, went to be with the Lord after a courageous struggle with diabetes on Wednesday, April 8, 1992.
Her life of love began on April 28, 1954 as the first-born child of Leah Laurent and Don Crook. By the age of eight, Kim was a cherished older sister to brother Kelly Crook and three sisters, Kerry Crook, Kirsten Chadwick and Korinne Baich.
Kim attended West Valley High School during the years of 1968-1972, where she was a vital key to school spirit. Her intense joy for sharing her sense of humor was a gift to her numerous friends.
On September 10, 1973, Kim became the bride of Ken Baggarley, her high school sweetheart. Five years later, she was blessed with the birth of their daughter, Abby.
Kim devoted herself to relationships with her family and friends. She treasured life's simple pleasures; gathering with family, reuniting with old friends and fellowship in her bible study group. She especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 11 at 2:00 pm at Ahtanum Pioneer Church. At Kim's request, a celebration of life will follow the memorial service at the Tampico Saddle Club's Blue Barn in Wiley City.
If desired, the family suggest memorials may be made to Wiley Union Church in care of Keith & Keith Funeral Home.
