Mr. McCue was a retired Lt. Col. of the US Army and a Veteran of WW II, Korea, and Vietnam. He was Project Director of Kansas City Neighborhood Paint-up Program from 1974-78. He was born in Liberty, Nebraska, but was raised in Beatrice, Nebraska, where he also graduated from High School. He was employed on the Advertising Staff of the Fremont Tribune of Fremont, Nebraska. He was president of Clay-Platte United Services of Kansas City. He was a member of the Exec. Committee of the Metropolitan United Community Services of Kansas City. He was a Member of the Metro United Community Services Planning and Budgeting Div. He was a member of the Kansas City Northland area Planning Advisor Committee. He was a member of the American Society for Public Administration. He was a member of the Community Development Society of American. He was Co-Chairman of United Community Service Clay-Platte Inter-agency Resource Exchange Committee from 1972-76. He was chairman of United Committee Service Clay-Platte Legislative Form in 1977.

Services will be held Tuesday 7:30 pm at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home, Kansas City, Missouri.
Graveside Services will be held 4 pm Wednesday at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Elkhorn, Nebraska.
