Manley L. Burr, a trustee of the Wilmington Savings bank, died alone in the woods here today. Mr. Burr and Gilbert Morris went into the woods on Bellows Hill, a mile or more from the village, this morning and Mr. Burr was stricken with heart disease. Mr. Morris gave him what assistance he could, but soon realized that his condition was serious and started for the village as rapidly as possible to find a physician, but when the latter arrived Mr. Burr had expired. The body was brought to his home here. Mr. Burr was about 65 years old and was a native of Dover. For many years he was a proprietor of the old Vermont house here, but retired some years ago. He had been an officer of the village corporation. He is survived by a wife, who was Mrs. Nellie McClellan of this town, and by two brothers and a sister.
