DENVER CITY - Memorial services for Millard Loyd Hart, Jr., 80, were held Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Trinity Baptist Church with Chaplain Donnie Rollie officiating. Services were under the direction of Radiff Funeral Home of Denver City. He passed away Friday, September 7, in Seminole.
Millard was born March 27, 1938 in Mitchell County to Millard Loyd, Sr. and Flora Alma Hart. He served in the United States Army from 1961-1963. Milliard and Elaine Moore were married June 25th, 1962 in Westbrook. Millard was employed by El Paso Natural Gas for 27 years. He retired as a plant operator. He was a Baptist, loved riding motorcycles, hunting arrowheads, gardening, watching Robert drag race, and adored his cats.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Ballard.
Millard is survived by his wife, Elaine Hart of Denver City; a son, Robert Hart and wife, Kelly of Greenwood; a daughter, Jennifer Everett and husband, Pete of Seminole; two sisters, Linda Ward of Ridgeland, South Carolina and Judy Moore of Westbrook; along with four grandsons, Brandon Navarro, Bradley Everett, Jarrett Everett, and Justin Everett.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Yoakum County Hospital Auxiliary, 412 Mustang, Denver City, Texas 79323
