Adrienne Carol Nelson (Larson), age 98, beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many passed away August 28, 2018, 3 days short of her 99th birthday, in Minneapolis, MN. She was born in Minneapolis and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1936. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard, her parents George and Adele Larson and daughter-in-law Ann. She is survived by her sons Craig, Todd, and Keith Nelson (Gail); sister Carol Fisher; grandchildren Brent Nelson (Tamara) and Mallory Nelson, and nephew Brian Fisher. Ade worked for many years at J.C. Penny and volunteered numerous hours at her church Diamond Lake Lutheran, the American Swedish Institute, the airport Servicemen's Center and Travelers Assistance, and Fairview Southdale Hospital. She and Willard enjoyed frequent travels to Rainbow Division reunions and maintained close ties with fellow WWII veterans and spouses.
