Linda May Cornett, age 76 of Broseley, Mo., died Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Mrs. Cornett was born September 21, 1941 in Fisk, Mo. She was the daughter of the late John Henry and Iva May Haislip.
She was a member of Harviell Jesus Name Pentecostal Church.
On October 12,1958 she married Delbert Cornett in Poplar Bluff. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Kathy Bloss and husband, Robert; one son, Jimmy Cornett and wife, Ann, all of Broseley; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren;
Two brothers, Ervin Haislip and wife, Carol of Festus, Mo., and Carl Haislip and wife, Linda of Harviell, Mo. Two sisters, Henrietta Griffin and husband, Cecil of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Donna Stroebel and husband, Eric of Verona, Ill. Two brother in laws, Jerry Mayo and wife, Linda of Sullivan, Mo., and Robert Moore and wife, Becky of Fairdealing, Mo.
She was preceded in death by one son, Dewayne Cornett, one grandson, Air Force MSGT William Cornett, two sisters, Marie Brown and husband, Leo; and Debbie Moore.
Visitations will begin at 10:00am on Wednesday September 12, 2018 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
Funeral service will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Leroy Murray officiating.
Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, Missouri.
