Ronald L. Pinkerton, 45, of Washington, died Saturday, December 6, 2014, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness.

He was born March 31, 1969, in Washington, a son of Carl H. and Janet Stickle Pinkerton of Washington.

Mr. Pinkerton was a 1987 graduate of Trinity High School.

He was a phlebotomist and taught at National Career School in Uniontown.

Mr. Pinkerton was a member of Friendship Community Church in Washington.

He enjoyed genealogy and his service dog, Ebony.

On June 6, 1995, he married Kimberly S. Bird, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Hannah M. and Haelinn G. Pinkerton, both of Washington; two brothers, Brian (Susan) Pinkerton and Douglas Pinkerton, both of Washington; a sister, Pamela (Michael) Fernandes of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 11, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating.

All other services will be private. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in the care of the funeral home.
