age 87, of Rochester Hills, died Thursday, September 13, 2018. He was born on October 5, 1930 in Detroit, son of the late Emil and Victoria Anstett.

Frederick is the loving husband of Miriam "Jean" (Kilbourn) Anstett, (married Jan 03, 1993 in Mt. Clemens, MI), wife of 25 years; Beloved father of Victoria (Marty) Wintrode, Frederick (Sheila) Anstett,Jr., Patricia (John) Rose, and Andrew (Sharon) Anstett; Dear step father of Mary Hsieh, David Kilbourn, Alice Kilbourn, and Ruth Kilbourn. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Lorraine Martin [Born Dec 03, 1933 in Shaftsburg, MI. Died of cancer Nov. 15, 1991 in Pontiac, MI.], a son Kenneth Anstett, and step son Paul Kilbourn.

Frederick graduated from Utica High School and was a member of the U.S. Navy Reserve. He retired from Chrysler Motors where he was a skilled tradesman. A longtime member of Rochester First Church of the Nazarene, Frederick had a passion for working with children. He cared for many in need, and often opened his home for others to stay. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2018, at the Rochester First Church of the Nazarene, 1799 Walton Blvd., Rochester Hills. Pastor Larry Crum officiating. Interment at Christian Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester. Memorials may be made to Rochester First Church of the Nazarene.
