Glenn James Golden, 53, 1434 Panola Rd, Stone Mountain, Ga. died Sunday after a brief illness. Funeral services were to be today at 1 p.m. from Crestwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Hostetter officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.

Survivors; wife, Mrs. Jean Stancil Golden, daughter, Mrs. Glenda New, Georgia, son-in-law, Bill New, Ga., Mother, Mrs. Nora Golden, Gadsden, Brothers, Frank and Audley Golden, Gadsden, Clyde Golden, Smyrna, Ga.; sisters, Mrs. Mary Warsham (Charlie), Gadsden, Mrs. Dorothy Erwin (Frank), Birmingham, two grandchildren.

Active pallbearers; Ralph Phillips, Jack D. ?ins, Hoyt Warsham, Robert Hood, Wiliam (Bill) Wood, and Delmus Golden. Mr. Golden was a native of Gadsden and a resident of Georgia for the past 33 years. He was a member of Dwight Baptist Church, a veteran of WWII, .. employee of the personnel department of Fafnir Bearing Company, Georgia for the past 15 years The body will remain at the funeral home through the hour of service.
