Herman Rubach of Theresa died on Friday afternoon, Jan. 23 at 4:30 p.m. in his home, age 72 years old. He was born in Germany on Dec. 23 1858 and came to America at age 2, settling in Hartford. During the last 57 years, he lived at his family homestead 2 1/2 miles north of Theresa. He leaves behind his wife and 3 daughters; Mrs. Adolph Tesch of Wausau, Mrs. Wilhelm Kolter of Town Wayne, and Augusta, as well as a son Carl Rubach, at home.The Funeral took place on Tuesday Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. from the house of the deceased to the Lutheran St. Paul's Church of Theresa, conducted by Pastor Heinrich Wolter.
