OBITUARY

ALBERT ENBURG

Funeral services for Albert Enburg, 84, of Fort Dodge, a former Lehigh resident, were held Thursday afternoon in the Laufersweiler Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert E. Brown, pastor of the First Christian Church officiated.

Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery at Lehigh.

Pallbearers were Lyle Newkirk, Harold Brown, William Robbins, Merlin Enburg, Francis Eckelberger and Gary Eckelberger.

Welch Laufersweiler sang during the services accompanied by Mrs. Darwin Wing at the organ.

Born Oct. 13, 1874, Mr. Enburg was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Enburg.

A sister, Anna Perry of Lehigh, two stepsons, Floyd and Lyle Eckelberger of Fort Dodge, and two stepaughters, Mrs. Ross Newkirk of Otho and Mrs. William Taylor of Fort Dodge, and nieces and nephews also survive.

His wife, the former Mrs. Laura Eckelberger died in 1939. One sister and four brothers also preceded him in death.

Mr. Enburg died early Tuesday morning at the Mercy Hospital following a long period of illness. A patient at the Truscheff Nursing Home for some time, Mr. Enburg was moved by ambulance to the hospital Monday.
