ROZELL, William C. Sr. "Billy", 83, of Tappahannock, departed this life Wednesday. November 21, 2012. He was the son of the late Joseph James and Ida Sharp Rozell of Dillwyn, Va. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia R. Skillman and Viola R. Rose; and his brothers, Orla and Earl Rozell.

He is survived by his sons, William C. Rozell Jr. of Mechanicsville, Richard L. Rozell (Penny) of Manquin and James Donald Rozell (Robin) of Mechanicsville; two grandchildren, Penny Lee and Jordan Elizabeth Rozell; and sister Beulah Lewis.

Mr. Rozell served in the Army right out of high school and then worked as a mechanic until his retirement from Henrico County. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 25 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road, where services will be held on Monday, November 26 at 7 p.m. Interment will follow on Tuesday, November 27 at 2 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church, Dillwyn, Va. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Friends of the Rappahannock, 3219 Fall Hill Ave., Fredericksburg, Va. 22401
