Mark Aanderud was born on 5 Sep 1958 to Donald and Lorraine Aanderud in Maddock, ND. Mark passed away unexpectedly in his home on 18 Jan 2017.
Mark attended Horace Mann Elementary and graduated from Fargo North High School in 1977. He cherished life-long friendships with several of his classmates--Brent, Jeff, Lu, Ski, Deb, Dave, Annette and Dan.
Kelso, Washington was Mark's home for 35 years, where he owned an irrigation and landscaping business. He retired last year and moved back to Fargo.
Mark loved hunting deer, pheasants, ducks, geese and shooting an occasional beer can. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and a devoted friend.
Mark is survived by favorite sisters, Rachel (John) Dahl and Rochelle (Greg) Olson both of Fargo, ND; four nieces, Erica (Brian) Kaldenberg of Iowa City, IA; Jeana (Brady) Janzen of Morris, MN; Laura Olson of St. Louis Park, MN; Kathryn Olson of Hoboken, NJ; aunt Berlayne Olson of Hawthorne, CA; and many Trimmer family relatives.
A celebration of life and a prayer service will be held on 4 Feb 2017 at the Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home.
Cremains are buried in the Viking Cemetery in block 3 plot 25.
