Harold “Raspy” Williams passed away on August 28, 2018, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
Harold “Raspy” Eugene Williams was born on July 16, 1928, in Eagle Grove, Iowa. He attended Fort Dodge Public School. Harold was in the Army and served in the Korean War. On November 28, 1952, he was united in marriage to Lillian Deal. His hobbies included horseshoes, playing cards, yardwork, and spending time with friends, watching NASCAR and racecar driving. Harold was employed at the Webster County Lumber Store and worked chores on the farm. He was a member of the VFW and the Moose in Fort Dodge.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Lottie (Hill) Williams; siblings Clarence, Ardella, Fern, Junior, George, Harvey, Betty and Bill.
Lillian Williams passed away on September 12, 2018, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
Lillian Josephine (Deal) Williams was born October 4, 1933, in Sulphur, Oklahoma. She lived in the Pleasant Valley area and attended Pleasant Valley School in Fort Dodge.
She enjoyed playing cards, horseshoes, crossword puzzles and crocheting. Lillian was employed with the Fort Dodge Messenger. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and May (Dale) Deal; siblings Marguerite “Tootles,” Gladys, Charles, Leonard, Herbert, Mae, Barbara, Mary, Marion. She is survived by siblings Edward “Butch,” Wilbur “Sam,” and Janet.
Harold and Lillian were also preceded in death by their children Michael Williams and Howard Williams. Survivors include their children Pamela (David) Noll, Harold Williams Jr., Paul (Kaisha) Williams, and Rose (Mark) Mathis; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
