Evelyn Mary Catherine Barker

Evelyn Mary Catherine Barker, 80, of Bozeman, Mont., formerly of Nevada, died of heart failure at Bozeman Care Center in Bozeman, Mont.
She was born to John and Florence (Friday) Berninger in Manhattan, Mont. A resident of Montana for the past 20 years, she had previously resided in Nevada for many years. She had been owner and operator of Barr's Grocery Store in Nevada, and had also been employed as a mail order salesperson.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon V. Barker, in 1957; two sisters: Ethelyn Skinner and Marilyn Reichmutch; and two brothers: Bill Berninger and Jack Berninger.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Dahl Funeral Chapel, Bozeman, Mont. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Dec. 15, at 1:30 p.m., at Nevada Municipal Cemetery, Nevada with Dr. Fred C. Danforth officiating.
