Funeral services for Frank E. Harness, 88, of Rt. 2, Galveston, were held Tuesday at Galveston. Burial was in a cemetery there. He died at the Fix Nursing Home in Flora at 5:30 pm Saturday. He had been in ill health for several years.
Born April 18, 1881, in Cass County, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. (Wash) Harness. His marriage was to Dora Swafford, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and two sisters. One son, Herbert, preceded him in death.
