Clarksburg, WV died at 4:15 A.M. Monday, January 12, 2004 at the Heartland of
Clarksburg Care Center following a brief illness. She was born in Sharpsburg, PA
November 18, 1907 a daughter of the late Calvin William Kerr and Anna Louise
Miller Kerr.
Her husband, Robert Emmett Albright, Sr., whom she married September 27, 1927,
preceded her in death on May 1, 1968.
Surviving are, one grandson, Jeffrey L. Albright, Glenville, WV, a granddaughter-
in-law, Sarah L. Albright, Rt. 2, Meadowbrook, WV, two great grandchildren,
Mrs. Roberta Swan and husband, William Chad Swan, Fairmont, WV and Jason
Albright and wife, Sara E. Albright, Clarksburg, WV, one great great
granddaughter, Brianna Swan, Fairmont, WV and a niece, Mrs. Patty Deweese and
husband W.C. “Dusty” Deweese, Morgantown, WV.
Mrs. Albright was also preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert E.
Albright, Jr. and wife, Betty L. Woofter Albright, two sisters, Bonalee Bumgardner
and June Kennedy and a brother, Dale Kerr.
Mrs. Albright was Baptist by faith, a graduate of the old Victory High School in
Clarksburg, Class of 1926 and was a homemaker.
Friends may call at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main Street,
Clarksburg from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 P.M. on Tuesday, where a funeral service will be held
on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. with the Reverend Homer D. Ham
presiding. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery next to her
husband.
