A graduate of the State Teachers College, Mansfield, Pa., she taught in public schools for several years. Survived by her husband, three sons, J. Stuart, Cattaraugus, Robert, Gowanda and Andrew, Rochester, two sisters, Mrs. Robert Johnson, Wellsboro, Pa. and Mrs. Earl Stermer, Lindley, three brothers, William Lindsay, Antrim, Pa., Thomas, Elkland, Pa., and William, Morris, Pa. Burial in the family plot at Wildwood Cemetery.Jessie (Linza) Fleming was the 1st wife of Rev. James Smith Fleming. They were married May 16, 1906. Jessie graduated from Mansfield State Teachers College. She was a public school teacher. Rev. Fleming died February 19, 1974.
