Patricia Ann Wall, 86, of Bloomington, passed away Saturday (Sept. 21, 2018) at her home.

She was born March 12, 1932 in Bloomington, daughter of Walter and Margaret Carmany. She married Robert Thomas Wall on July 31, 1954, and the city girl had to adjust to life on the farm, where she became known for her turkey gravy.

She was happiest around her family, and wherever people gathered. For more than 30 years, she joined the Hardees gang for breakfast. She was known for her ability to talk to anyone, and care about everyone.

While raising five daughters, she worked as a dental receptionist for Dr. Larry Hedmark and later, Dr. Frank Foehr, retiring at 75. She volunteered at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center for 38 years, giving more than 10,000 hours, and crocheting hundreds of hats for newborns.

Pat was a 1950 graduate of Holy Trinity High School. She was a member of St. Patrick Church of Merna.

Survivors include her daughters, Susan (Todd) Arnold, Villa Hills, Kentucky; Linda Wall, Normal; Kate Arthur, Normal; Karen Wall, Bloomington and Trish (Matt) Hartman, Bloomington; grandchildren, Melissa Doepker, Villa Hills; Katie (Jason) Dietrich, Florence, Kentucky; Andrew Arthur, Peoria; Michael Hartman (fiancée, Jessica LaMarca), Bloomington; Kathryn Hartman, Bloomington and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her special friend, Lyle Cagley. Her dog, Coco, will also miss her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, who died March 11, 2003, and her siblings, Alice Katherine Schultz, Mary Jane Sutter, and Jim Carmany.
