Joseph M. Adamski, 76, of Nazareth, formerly of Harmony Township, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, in Old Orchard Health Care Center.

Born May 18, 1942, in Lower Nazareth Township, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Majka) Adamski. His wife, Elizabeth, died in 1993.

He was a field service representative with Baker-Hughes Company before his retirement. Prior to that he was employed with Humboldt Decanter, Inc. and was a shop foreman with Ingersoll Rand. Joseph served in the Army, 3rd Cavalry Signal Corps, from 1960-1963 and was stationed in Germany. He was a 1960 graduate of Notre Dame High School. He loved home projects and being a grandfather. He also was a Little League coach years ago.

Joseph attended Christ United Methodist Church in Easton.

He is survived by a son, Joseph Jr. and wife, Tracy, of Nazareth; a daughter, Christine Fisher and husband, Dave, of White Township; four brothers, John and wife, Maryann, of Palmer Township, Raymond and wife, Candy, of Nazareth, David and wife, Kathy, and Daniel and wife, Melanie, all of Saylorsburg; a sister, Theresa Barna and husband, William, of Golden, CO; four grandchildren, Elyse (James), Heather (David), Alexandra, and Jacob, and a great-grandson, Jacoby.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Doyle-Devlin Funeral Home, Inc., 695 Corliss Ave, Phillipsburg, NJ. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Bloomsbury Cemetery.
