Janet I. Starkey age 68 of Normal IL passed away at 7:45 PM on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at her residence. Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Pastor Patsy Koeneke will be officiating.
Burial will be in Hinthorn Cemetery, Hudson, IL. Visitation will be 5:00 PM-7:00 PM Wednesday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. and from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM Thursday at the memorial home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to her grandchildren’s education fund.
Janet was born June 18, 1950 in Normal, IL the daughter of Robert and Shirley June Abraham Tapke.She married Russell L. Starkey on January 14, 1977 in Bloomington, IL. He passed away March 30, 2010.

Janet enjoyed fishing, horseback riding and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a legal secretary for a judge and various law firms in Bloomington.
