Mr. Frank H. Bishop, age 51 years, died on Sunday, June 27th, 1897 at his home southwest of Waterloo. Besides his wife there are four children. The funeral services were conducted by Atlanta Post I74, G. A. R., on Tuesday, at Prospect Hill cemetery and burial with Grand Army Honors. The funeral discourse was preached at the Christian church with Rev. Smith of Iowa, and we hear the sermon praised by those in attendance.
Mr. Bishop had been a resident here about two years, moving here from Omaha, where he was a member of Custer Post G. A. R. of that city, a veteran and pensioner. Mrs. Bishop and children will now reside with her brothers George and Elijah Brown, we understand.
