He was a Retired United States Marine Corps Sergeant of the Vietnam War. Richard lived in Arkansas since moving from Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 2015. He enjoyed buying and selling firearms.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Burial will be in the Quantico National Cemetery, Quantico, Virginia.
