(nee Jakubek) Baase, dear father of Rene (Dr. John) Manzella of York Pa, Nancy (James Manuse of Youngstown, New York, Dr. Michael (Franesca) Baase; grandfather of James (Jessica) Joseph, and Peter Manzella, Julie (Eric) Polgar, Andrew (Jennifer) and Joseph Manuse, Sarah Marie Baase, and great grandfather of Bennet, Aislin, and Aidan Rose, brother of the later Arthur, Herman, George, Helen Ruhland and Ann Baase.
He was a man deeply rooted in his faith of God , grateful for his blessings. He counted his wife, family and friends chief among them and was always quick to compliment and left them up in every instance. His energetic, cheerful, demeanor and living nature will always be happily remembered by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 911 Englewood Avenue, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Baenabas E.C. Church (Depew, NY) Saturday at 9 AM. Friends please assemble at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Buffalo Chapter of the American Heart Association or Hospice Foundation Inc. of WNU.
