Alex Boyd Repass, 62, of Lake Worth, FL, formerly of Tazewell, VA, died September 5, 2018 at Hospice of West Palm Beach in West Palm Beach, FL. Born in Tazewell September 23, 1955 he was the son of the late Floyd Peter and Ruby Pearl Farmer Repass. Alex was a disabled veteran who formerly served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parent’s one brother, Lemuel Repass and three sisters Hester Repass Bowling, Ann Repass Garling and Ivy Repass Aldridge preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, Matthew Repass and fiancé Stacie Shrader of Bluefield, VA and Micah Repass and wife Holly of Tazewell, VA; four grandchildren, Victoria, Alyssa, McKenzie and Gracie; two step-grandchildren, Jacob and Emily Hounshell; three great-grandchildren, Dawson Ray and Amelia Ellen May Hall and Aubreyonna Ahmya Leggett; one sister, Dorothy L. Repass of Wytheville, VA; one brother, Floyd Repass and wife Jackie of Mebane, NC; companion of 19 years, Ruth Ann Rote of Bluefield, VA; and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes Alex was cremated. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, September 28, 2018, at Maplewood Cemetery in Tazewell, VA with Pastor Floyd Repass officiating. Barns-Beavers VFW Post #7136 will conduct a Military Graveside service. Those attending the service are asked to be at the cemetery by the service hour on Friday.
