Virginia Alice Early Culberson born October 16, 1926 in Chattanooga, TN and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Wednesday, September 26, 2018, in a local assisted living facility. Mrs. Culberson was a member of Christ Anglican Church. She and her husband, P.D, who met as a result of their fondness for ballroom dancing were founding members of Azalea City Dance Club and taught Ballroom Dancing locally for many years. Mrs. Culberson was a graduate of Philips High School in Birmingham, AL and attended the University of Alabama. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her family. She was preceded in death by husband, P.D. Culberson, Jr, her parents, Edwards Donald Early and Emma Virginia Adams Early and her brother, John Adams Early. Survivors include her three children, Don Culberson, Lynn Graham and Lee Stringer; nine grandchildren, Steven, Ginni, Ivey, Will, Adam, Melissa, Veronica, Genevieve, and Aaron; ten great-grandchildren, Thomas, Ivey Lee, Lily, Arik, Christopher, Ani, Emily, Aubrey, Ashlynn and Max; other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held from Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Anglican Church, 3275 Halls Mill Rd., Mobile, AL 36606.
