Mr. Charles Cash died suddenly of a heart attack on Sunday, July 22, 1956, during Sunday School services at Ivy Chapel Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. A retired construction superintendent for W.F. Holt and Son Construction, Mr. Cash had supervised the building of the church two years prior as his last construction project.

He was a native of Charleston, South Carolina, and moved to Nashville, where he married Miss Mildred Ensley, who survives. Mr. Cash was a member of Ivy Chapel Baptist Church and a third degree Mason. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, three sons, and five grandchildren.
