It was at East High where Teddy met her sweetheart Lynn. Following World War II, she and Lynn were married in the Salt Lake Temple on September 15, 1947. Together they designed and built their family home, where they raised four sons, and hosted many Sunday dinners and family events.
A lifelong learner, Teddy returned to school in her 50's, and graduated with honors from the University of Utah with a bachelor's degree in Art History. Teddy was proud of her pioneer ancestry and loved to discuss it with anyone who would listen. A lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Teddy found great satisfaction serving with children, teens, and adults over many years. Her passions included art, travel, cats, and teddy bears - in no particular order.
Teddy is survived by sons Shaun (Mary), Mark (Julie), Brian (B.J.) and Dan (Suzanne) Fullmer, 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and her half-brother Robert Elcock. In addition to her husband Lynn, she was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Betty Coltrin.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 5 at the LDS meetinghouse located at 1565 South Foothill Drive. Visitations will be held Thursday, October 4 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment at Larkin Sunset Lawn.
Special thanks to the aides from Home Care Assistance who lovingly cared for our mom so she could remain at home in her later years.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to LDS Church Humanitarian Aid or the Salvation Army.
