Wm. David Taylor, 67, of Huntington, WV passed away Sunday September 30, 2018. He was born April 4, 1951 in Huntington, WV son of Mary Jean Taylor of Huntington, WV and the late Charles William Taylor. He was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ and he retired from Verizon. He was also an amateur radio operator call sign K8ELS. David loved genealogy with over 25,000 records on his family tree. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Deborah McIntyre; one brother Chuck Taylor of Mooresville, NC; one daughter Linda (T.J.) Gartin of Kernersville, NC and one son John Taylor of Huntington, WV, and their mother Deborah L. Taylor; three grandchildren Annaleise, Madelynn and Elijah; two nieces Jennifer and Jodi; two step sons Jason and Justin Murdock; a host of special friends; and his fury companion Sugar. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Minister Rodger Gentil officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the funeral home.
