Dorothy C. Yacabucci , 69, of Philipsburg and formerly of
Clearfield, died on Friday, March 29, 2013 at her home.
She was born on June 2, 1943 in St. Mary's, a daughter
of the late William Caseino and Margaret (Droney) Caseino Hornung.
Mrs. Yacabucci was previously employed with Sylvania in Emporium,
and The Shortway Products Co. and Berg Electronics,
both formerly of Clearfield. She enjoyed reading, tracing genealogy
and animals.
She is survived by two daughters, Kim (Cleary) Kotzbauer of Emporium
and Joey Lynn (Cleary) Bloom and husband Shawn of O'Shanter;
three grandchildren Noah, Isaac and Eva Lynn Bloom;
four sisters, Paula Rodis and husband Dr. Ernesto of Phoenix, AZ,
Ruth Lauer and husband Hugh of Concord, MA,
Frances Mihalek of Boalsburg and
Letitia 'Tish' Mehalow and husband William of Smithsburg, MD;
a step brother Stephen Hornung and wife Roxanne; a
former spouse Thomas J. Cleary of Emporium; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by her step father George M. Hornung.
A memorial service will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home,
Clearfield on Thursday at 10:00 am with
Msgr. H. Desmond McGee Jr. officiating.
The committal service will follow on Thursday at 1:00 PM
at the St. Marks Catholic Cemetery, Emporium.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial
contributions be made to Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home,
113 N. Third Street, Clearfield.
