Gracie Louise Athey of Boyd, Texas passed away October 1, 2018 at the age 90. She was born January 25, 1928. Louise married Cecil Clyde Athey on August 7, 1943 in McKinney, Texas. She worked as an electronic assembler in the Aviation industry and retired from Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas. Louise was a past member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Reno. Texas.

She is survived by son, Don Athey and wife, Kitsy of Boyd, Texas; grandson, Daniel Athey and wife, Cathleen of Cameron, North Carolina; and great-grandchildren, Aurora, Eleanor and Abigail of Cameron, North Carolina;

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Athey and parents.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 5, 2018 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during a visitation Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
