HILLSBORO, Jan. 27 (Spl). -- William Pinckney (Pink) Hightower, 81, a resident of Hillsboro for 46 years, died in a Waco hospital Sunday morning.

He was a native of Frost, but had lived in Hill County most of his life.

He was in the trucking business.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Marshall & Marshall Funeral Chapel with burial in Hillcrest Garden of Memories.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Alton Hightower of Hillsboro, Seaborn Hightower of Whitney, Floyd Hightower of Dallas, Frank Hightower of Eastland and Sanford Hightower of Fort Worth; two daughters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Emert of St. Louis and Mrs. Ora Baumon of Dallas; a brother, Jim Hightower of Cleburne; four sisters, Mrs. Abbie Pewitt of Waco, Mrs. Sarah LeCroy of Lubbock, Mrs. Fannie Healer of Grandview and Mrs. Tinnie Coleman of Grand Prairie; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
