Blanchard after a lingering illness of a number of years passed away at her home last Friday night. Funeral at the house Sunday afternoon. Burial is at Oakland. We were sorry to lose Mrs. Blanchard. She was a very kind and good neighbor. Arthur Blanchard came home to be with his mother in her last hours of sickness.

She was born March 16th, 1856 and Jan. 16, 1876 was united in marriage with A. P. Blanchard. Of this union, there was but one child, a son who resides in Excelsior Spring, Mo. The funeral was held from the home, and interment was in Oakland cemetery, Rev. H. E. Parr officiating. Mrs. Blanchard was a sister of Mrs. Harry Dean, of Princeton.
