Jarrod Parker 18 year old son of Lt Col David and Ellen Parker of Whiteman AFB, Missouri, died May 16, 1997 at Clearfork Lake in Knob Noster State Park. Jarrod was born January 6, 1979 in Reedsport, Oregon.
He was a graduating senior at Knob Noster High school where he had attended school for the last three years. He was a member of the East Gay street Church of Christ in Warrensburg.
He is survived by his parents, his sister and brother, Rachael and Slaid and his grandparents, Joe and Jim Ella Parker of Shreveport, La. and Mutt and Florine Slaid of Haynesville, La.
