Joey was the beloved father of Kayden Gott, the beloved son of Christos Christou, Jr., and brother to Guy, Travis and sister Amber. He is survived by his great grandfather, many aunts, uncles, and cousins and nieces and nephews and also his biological parents. His untimely demise has brought us great sorrow. The happy times were more numerous than the sad times. He will forever be missed and our memories will be with us forever. He was a beloved father, son, brother and friend. His big smiles, his laugh, his jokes - all bring us great memories along with the photographs of better days. Someone you love should not die so young. He tried hard at everything he did. When he played football and basketball, he would beam those bright eyes and charge ahead with full force. He made friends wherever he went, rooms full of people and he would talk to you like he knew you forever, by the next day he would be invited to your house as a lifelong friend. We cannot count the number of friends he had. We traveled all over the east coast from NY to OH to WV to KY to SC. We would drive all over to see things having great times along the way. The love of his life was his only child Kay (and his longtime girlfriend Shannon Ashton).
