MRS. S.V. WINGERT
(1868-1957)
Mrs. Mary Britton WIngert, 89, of 45 Popham Road, Scarsdale, N.Y., died at her home early Wednesday morning. She was the widow of S.V. Wingert.
Mrs. Wingert was a residdent of Chambersburg from 1904 to 1924 and was an active member of Zion Reformed Church.
Mrs. Winger was born on Feb. 4, 1868, in Upper Strasburg, a daughter of the late William Warren and Statira Keasey Britton.
She was the last of her family and is survived by one daughter, Mary Elizabeth, at home, and two grandchildren.
Her only son, William Britton Wingert died in November, 1956.
Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the Church of St. James the Less in Scarsdale. Burial was made in the churchyard.
